Retaining walls prevent erosion, define landscape contours and changes in grade, and add beauty to the outdoor environment. Traditional masonry or stone retaining walls are attractive, but they are also expensive, time-consuming to build, and can be prone to shifting and collapse. Retaining walls made from railroad ties are not durable, and those made from interlocking concrete have a utilitarian look that does not complement most architectural styles or landscape designs.

Prices start at $1200 for a 3’ by 10’ single-sided StoneMakers retaining wall. This price includes excavation, custom carving and coloring, sealing, and backfilling.
